On Site Staffing Specialist

 Primary Responsibilities:

q       First Point of contact for client

q       Achieve staffing objectives, establish recruiting requirements

q       Follow client specific hiring requirements

q       Conduct interviews

q       Conduct new hire orientations, audit new hire paperwork, and complete steps for on boarding process.

q       Complete weekly payroll

q       Handle employee relations and counsel temporary associates as needed

q       Assist client managers with direction of temporary associates. 

q       Establish a good working relationship with multiple contacts within client to include HR, production managers, and trainers. 

Requirements:

 q     3 to 5 years of Human Resources experience

q       Previous experience in a union environment

q       Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience

q       Strong PC Skills including MS Office programs

q       Ability to shift back and forth between two or more tasks

Able to work a flexible schedule with overtime and weekend hours 

 

WAREHOUSE WORKERS:

We are filling seasonal  positions for a large Distribution Center in Humboldt Park, Hazleton, PA.  Pay rates start at  $10.00.   Some duties include but do not exclude: unloading/loading trucks, picking and palletizing. Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. Pre-Employment Drug Screen and Background checks are required. 

MIG WELDERS

Set up, fit, clamp, bolt or tack-weld parts and sub-assemblies for diversified assemblies of somewhat complex design.  Perform burning, scarfing, grinding, straightening and reforming of components as needed to fit and align parts.  Plan and layout erection procedures and sequences for special, complicated shot-run products with participation of lead-person and/or Supervisor.  Perform welding, including set up and adjustment, using MIG, TIG, arc, subarc, plasma and single- and dual-head automatic welding machine equipment.  Maintain proper dimension, contour, fit, alignment and weld quality (including NDT inspection) by monitoring own work using proper gauges, fixtures, etc.  Assist supervisor in prescribing and testing weld procedures as needed.  Perform all of above in accordance with drawings, sketches, specifications, ASME section IX standards and other instructions.

 

 

MACHINE OPERATOR TRAINEE:

A leading Thermo-plastics company in the Hazleton Area is hiring experienced machine operators. We currently have 12 hour day/night shifts available (must be available to work every other weekend), the hours are 6:30pm-6:30am or 6:30am-6:30pm with a pay rate of $17.62. We are looking for dedicated individuals that can work independently and as a team. The job duties include, but are not limited to: following all safety protocols and procedures, making necessary line adjustments following process log, identify and troubleshoot needed repairs, ability to read and understand equipment manuals and diagrams, take accurate measurements, attention to detail, organized and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. This is a temp-to-hire position. Previous extrusion experience is a plus! Pre-employment Drug Screen and Background Checks are a must!

 

INSPECTOR/PACKERS:

A leading thermoplastics manufacturer located in the Hazleton area are looking for Inspector/Packers. We currently have both day and night shifts available. These are 12 hours shifts working on a weo schedules (3/4 work week). Day shift pay rate is $9.00 per hour and night shift is $10.00 per hour. This is a temp-to hire-position. The job duties include, but are not limited to the following: visually inspecting the product, making boxes, packing the product according to customer specifications, housekeeping, repetitive motions, standing on your feet for 12 hours, attending weekly meetings and must have excellent manual dexterity. Previous manufacturing experience is preferred. There is also possible room for advancement to a Work Group Leader position for the right candidate!  Pre-Employment Drug Screens and Background checks are a must!
